Cancer Partners is Nebraska’s only community oncology practice participating in the National Cancer Institute (NCI) research network, providing access to leading clinical trials through membership in two prestigious research groups: the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, through its affiliation with MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group.
Through these partnerships, Nebraska patients may have opportunities to participate in groundbreaking cancer research and access innovative treatment options while remaining closer to their families, communities and support systems.

That philosophy is reflected in the April Sampson Cancer Center, where patients themselves played an important role in shaping the environment. A patient advisory group helped guide the center’s design and services, resulting in features such as convenient patient drop-off areas, ground-level parking, abundant natural light, scenic views and comprehensive services available under one roof.
The center also incorporates Healing Arts programming, helping create a welcoming and restorative environment that supports patients’ emotional, mental and physical well-being throughout treatment.
A Team Supporting Every Step of the Journey
Cancer care is rarely the work of a single provider. Cancer Partners utilizes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach that brings together physicians, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, pharmacists, therapists and support specialists to coordinate care throughout each patient’s journey.
Patients also have access to specialized expertise for complex and high-risk conditions, including gynecologic oncology and genetic counseling, along with other specialized services designed to provide comprehensive, individualized care.
Rehabilitation services, including physical and occupational therapy, further support patients by helping them manage treatment-related side effects, maintain independence, improve strength and mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life during and after treatment.
